Lizzo closed the night wearing a white dress. The superstar sang and played the flute during her performance. She delivered renditions of her tracks "Cuz I Love You" and "Truth Hurts" with orchestral support. Lizzo took a moment to salute her mother, who was celebrating her birthday at the event. The artist also publicly acknowledged Dudamel in his role as the director of the New York Philharmonic.
